We asked Erin what value she sees in the credit union’s philosophy of “people helping people.” She said, “The biggest difference between Money FCU and for-profit financial institutions is that the credit union is looking out for the best interest of the members, not the stockholders. Decisions are made with members in mind and not just the profits.”
This is 100% true and what makes credit unions different. Our focus is not on the bottom line, but on who we serve.
We commend Erin on her impressive accomplishments and can’t wait to see what the future holds at RIT!
